Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower

A spicy and crispy alternative to traditional buffalo wings, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cauliflower by cutting it into uniform bite-sized florets.
  2. Make the batter by whisking together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the cauliflower in the batter, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray. Air fry the cauliflower for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. While the cauliflower cooks, combine the buffalo sauce with the melted butter.
  6. Once cooked, toss the cauliflower in the buffalo sauce mixture until well-coated.
  7. Serve hot, with dipping sauces like ranch or blue cheese, and crunchy celery sticks.

Notes

Feel free to swap out the all-purpose flour for a gluten-free alternative or customize the buffalo sauce.
