- 8 all-beef hot dogs
- ¼ cup barbecue sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
- ½ tsp hot sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp BBQ dry rub of choice
Instructions
- Place the hot dogs in the air fryer in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
- Air fry at 400°F for 7-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the hot dogs are browned.
- Remove the hot dogs from the air fryer and cut them into approximately 1-inch pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the hot dog pieces with barbecue sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, hot sauce (if using), apple cider vinegar, and the BBQ dry rub. Mix until well combined.
- Return the coated hot dog chunks to the air fryer in a single layer.
- Air fry again at 400°F for an additional 7-10 minutes, stirring after 4-5 minutes, until the pieces are deep brown and caramelized to your liking.
