Air Fryer Hot Dog Burnt Ends

  • 8 all-beef hot dogs
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • ½ tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp BBQ dry rub of choice

Instructions

  1. Place the hot dogs in the air fryer in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
  2. Air fry at 400°F for 7-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the hot dogs are browned.
  3. Remove the hot dogs from the air fryer and cut them into approximately 1-inch pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the hot dog pieces with barbecue sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, hot sauce (if using), apple cider vinegar, and the BBQ dry rub. Mix until well combined.
  5. Return the coated hot dog chunks to the air fryer in a single layer.
  6. Air fry again at 400°F for an additional 7-10 minutes, stirring after 4-5 minutes, until the pieces are deep brown and caramelized to your liking.
