- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons cottage cheese (2% or 4%)
- 1 egg (optional)
- Toppings: everything seasoning, poppy seeds, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Add flour to a medium bowl and mix with baking powder; optionally add salt.
- Make a well in the center and add cottage cheese; mix until chunky.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes until semi-smooth.
- Divide into 4 sections, rolling each into a 6-7 inch log and form bagels.
- Whisk egg with a splash of water or milk and brush over bagels; add toppings.
- Preheat air fryer to 300°F and line the basket.
- Place bagels in the air fryer; cook for 15-17 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
