- 8 oz orzo pasta
- 1 block (8 oz) feta cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, place the block of feta cheese in the center.
- Surround the feta with halved cherry tomatoes.
- Drizzle olive oil over the feta and tomatoes. Sprinkle with minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden.
- While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the orzo according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the orzo and add it to the baking dish after removing it from the oven.
- Stir everything together until combined, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality feta cheese for the best flavor. Don’t skip the fresh herbs when garnishing, as they bring a fresh taste to the dish.
