Baked Feta Orzo

A delicious one-pot dish of orzo pasta baked with creamy feta, cherry tomatoes, and garlic, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 8 oz feta cheese
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine orzo, feta, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour in 3 cups of water and stir to combine.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the orzo is tender and the feta is golden.
  5. Remove from the oven, stir well, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Perfect as a standalone dish or a side. Can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge.
