- 1½ cups mashed bananas (approximately 3 bananas)
- ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or any favorite)
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and nut butter until well mixed.
- Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt; stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan and flatten it evenly.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Let them cool in the pan, then lift out and cut into squares or rectangles.
Notes
For best results, use ripe bananas, and consider adding mix-ins like nuts, seeds, or dried fruit.
