  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (approximately 3 bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or any favorite)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and nut butter until well mixed.
  4. Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt; stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan and flatten it evenly.
  6. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Let them cool in the pan, then lift out and cut into squares or rectangles.

Notes

For best results, use ripe bananas, and consider adding mix-ins like nuts, seeds, or dried fruit.
