Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced (flank steak or sirloin)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef, ensuring it’s well coated. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry until it’s nicely browned.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and add a splash of water; cover the pan to steam for 3-4 minutes or until the broccoli is tender yet still bright green.
- Lastly, season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Notes
Marinate the beef longer for enhanced flavor. You can use cauliflower instead of broccoli for a healthier option.
