BLT Quiche

A delicious twist on the classic BLT sandwich, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs and milk in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and layer the chopped turkey bacon, halved cherry tomatoes, and shredded cheese on the bottom.
  4. Pour the egg mixture on top of the layers, then evenly sprinkle the shredded lettuce on top.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a meatless version, substitute turkey bacon with sautéed mushrooms and bell peppers.
