Buffalo Chicken Mozzarella Sticks

Spicy and cheesy buffalo chicken mozzarella sticks, perfect for parties and game days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shredded Chicken (store-bought or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups Cooking Oil
  • 1/2 cup Dipping Sauces (blue cheese or ranch)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce until well combined.
  2. Wrap a spoonful of the chicken mixture around a piece of mozzarella cheese and shape into a stick. Repeat with remaining cheese and chicken.
  3. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken-wrapped cheese stick in flour, then in egg, and finally in panko to coat.
  5. In a large pot, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  6. Fry the breaded sticks in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Repeat frying until all sticks are cooked.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in buffalo sauce for 30 minutes before use. Baked version available by placing on a lined baking sheet and baking at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
