Cajun Chicken Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and green bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve the mixture on hamburger buns and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra heat, add more Cajun seasoning or hot sauce. Can use ground turkey or beef as alternatives.
