Cajun Shrimp and Salmon with Garlic Cream Sauce

A delightful dish that combines bold Cajun spices with the richness of shrimp and salmon in a creamy garlic sauce.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, deveined
  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the salmon fillets. Cook until they are cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the skillet, add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve over rice, pasta, or with steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
