- 3 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 cups whipped cream
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the peeled and chopped apples, stirring to coat.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the apples and mix well.
- Cook until the apples are tender and caramelized, approximately 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the apples cool slightly.
- Layer the dessert cups with caramelized apples and whipped cream, repeating the layers until cups are filled.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy chilled!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use Granny Smith apples. You can prepare the caramelized apple filling a day in advance.
