Caramel Apple Dessert Cups

Ingredients

  • 3 cups peeled and chopped apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cups whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the peeled and chopped apples, stirring to coat.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the apples and mix well.
  4. Cook until the apples are tender and caramelized, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let the apples cool slightly.
  6. Layer the dessert cups with caramelized apples and whipped cream, repeating the layers until cups are filled.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy chilled!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use Granny Smith apples. You can prepare the caramelized apple filling a day in advance.
