  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the uncooked rice, beef broth, and cream of mushroom soup. Add salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top. Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Can use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option. Add vegetables like bell peppers or peas for extra nutrition.
