Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the marinara sauce and stir to coat.
- Cut the hoagie rolls open and place them on a baking dish.
- Fill each roll with meatballs and sauce, then top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the oven for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. You can reheat in the microwave or oven.
