- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, shredded cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the mixture.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding herbs like parsley or Italian seasoning to the meat mixture. You can use different types of cheese for variation.
