Cheesy Meatloaf Casserole

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, shredded cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Spread ketchup over the top of the mixture.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding herbs like parsley or Italian seasoning to the meat mixture. You can use different types of cheese for variation.
