Ingredients

- 1 lb steak, diced
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup cheese, shredded (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add diced steak to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Stir in uncooked rice and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and cover until cheese is melted.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or green onions. Pairs well with a salad or steamed vegetables.
