Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls

A fun twist on comfort food, these Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls feature creamy Alfredo sauce, tender chicken, and pasta served in crispy bread bowls.

Ingredients

  • 3 pieces Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound Pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 6 pieces Kaiser rolls (or more if needed)
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken cubes with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook them in olive oil over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain well.
  3. Slice the tops off the Kaiser rolls and gently hollow out the centers to create bowls.
  4. Combine melted butter with garlic and herb seasoning. Brush the inside and edges of the bread bowls with the mixture.
  5. Bake the bowls at 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes until they are lightly toasted.
  6. Add the drained pasta and Alfredo sauce to the cooked chicken. Stir to combine well.
  7. Fill the toasted bread bowls with the chicken Alfredo mixture and top with shredded parmesan.
  8. Return the filled bowls to the oven for 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the pasta, as it will continue to cook slightly in the oven. Feel free to customize the filling with vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for added nutrition.
