Chili Lime Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • Juice of 2 Fresh limes
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Serve with rice, veggies, or in tacos.

Notes

For spicier kick, add more chili powder or diced jalapeños. Marinating longer enhances flavor. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F (75°C).
