Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Chicken breasts
- Juice of 2 Fresh limes
- 2 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Add chicken breasts to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or oven.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve with rice, veggies, or in tacos.
Notes
For spicier kick, add more chili powder or diced jalapeños. Marinating longer enhances flavor. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F (75°C).
