Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, melt the 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, then mix in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt. Stir until smooth and lump-free.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture, then mix well.
- Gradually incorporate the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until a soft dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly into the lined baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough mixture on top of the brownie batter.
- Gently press the cookie dough into the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Serve with ice cream or drizzled with chocolate sauce for an extra treat.
