Ingredients
Scale
- 3 medium apples, diced
- 2 cups red grapes, halved
- 1 cup pecans or walnuts, toasted and chopped
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Toast the nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently for 3-5 minutes until fragrant and lightly browned.
- Wash the apples and grapes; dice the apples and halve the grapes.
- In a large bowl, combine the diced apples and halved grapes, tossing immediately with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, ground cinnamon, and sea salt until well combined. If necessary, warm the honey for easier drizzling.
- Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture and add the toasted nuts. Toss gently to coat.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours. Garnish with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon and whole nuts if desired.
Notes
For best flavor, use a mix of sweet and tart apples. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.
