Cinnamon Donut Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (cooled)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter.
  5. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or dust with powdered sugar. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
