- 1 large egg
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Whisk until well combined.
- Add the egg, honey, and vanilla extract; whisk until blended.
- Stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons granulated sugar with the remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the pan cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
These blondies can be served warm with ice cream, drizzled with honey, or dusted with powdered sugar. They are also delicious when paired with coffee or tea.
