Creamy Garlic Sauce for Baby Potatoes

A delicious and easy dish featuring tender baby potatoes in a rich creamy garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb baby potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the baby potatoes in salted water until tender.
  2. In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add heavy cream to the pan and stir to combine.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Drain the cooked potatoes and add them to the garlic sauce, tossing to coat.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the garlic as it can become bitter. For an added kick, consider adding red pepper flakes to the sauce. Use small, evenly sized baby potatoes for consistent cooking.
