Crock Pot Cheesesteak Tortellini

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thin)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 package (about 20 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, add the sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms.
  2. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cheese tortellini.
  6. Once the tortellini is cooked, stir in the provolone cheese until melted.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding some garlic or Italian seasoning. You can use any type of cheese tortellini or try other stuffed pastas. Slice the beef and vegetables thinly for faster cooking.
