- 2 cups of chicken breast
- 1 cup of rice
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: vegetables like peas or carrots
Instructions
- Place the chicken, rice, onion, garlic, and chicken broth in the Crock Pot.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6-8 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (3-4 hours).
- About 15 minutes before serving, add the cheese and stir until melted.
- If using, add in any additional vegetables and cook until tender.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, sauté the onion and garlic before adding them to the Crock Pot. This dish can be modified with different proteins or vegetables.
