Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  2. Place the meatballs in the crockpot.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth and onion soup mix, then pour this mixture over the meatballs.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 360 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle Swiss cheese on top of the meatballs and let it melt. Serve hot.

Notes
