Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts)
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine mixed nuts and pitted dates and blend until a sticky mixture forms.
  3. Add dark chocolate chips, sea salt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract; blend again until well combined.
  4. Press the mixture into the lined baking dish evenly.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until slightly golden.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
