- 1 cup Cottage Cheese
- 2 cups Fresh Spinach
- 4 pcs Eggs
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté the fresh spinach in a pan over medium heat with olive oil until wilted (2-3 minutes).
- Prepare the onion by chopping it finely, then add it to the pan with spinach and cook for another 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Mix the cottage cheese, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
- Combine the sautéed spinach and onion with the cheese mixture and stir to ensure even distribution.
- Add the cheddar cheese and fold it into the mixture.
- Bake in a greased pie dish for 30-35 minutes until the top is set and lightly golden.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Best served warm or at room temperature. Pairs well with a garden salad or fresh tomatoes.
