- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Lay 4 chicken breasts flat in the crock pot, ensuring they are not stacked.
- Evenly sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
- Pour 1 cup of chicken broth around the chicken.
- Place 8 ounces of cream cheese directly on top of the chicken.
- Set the crock pot to cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crock pot with two forks.
- Add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the shredded chicken and stir until melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
You can use frozen chicken breasts by cooking on high for an additional hour, and feel free to add vegetables for extra nutrition.
