  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
  • Dipping Sauces (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard) as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Ensure puff pastry is fully thawed and at room temperature.
  3. Mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until slightly larger.
  5. Cut the pastry into long strips, 1-2 inches wide.
  6. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each strip without overfilling.
  7. Twist each pastry strip gently to swirl the filling inside.
  8. Arrange the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Beat the egg and brush over each twist for a golden finish.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  11. Cool for a few minutes and serve with dipping sauces.
