- ½ cup salted butter (softened to room temperature)
- ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the softened salted butter and brown sugar together with a large spoon until creamy.
- Add the flour and mix until no dry pockets of flour remain.
- Form the cookie dough into balls approximately 2 inches in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Gently press the tops of the cookies down with your hand to flatten them slightly.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden around the edges. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before enjoying.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Dough balls can be frozen before baking.
