  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup salted butter (softened to room temperature)
  • ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix the softened salted butter and brown sugar together with a large spoon until creamy.
  3. Add the flour and mix until no dry pockets of flour remain.
  4. Form the cookie dough into balls approximately 2 inches in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  5. Gently press the tops of the cookies down with your hand to flatten them slightly.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden around the edges. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before enjoying.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Dough balls can be frozen before baking.
