Easy Cheeseburger Pasta Dinner Casserole

A fun and easy dish that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the comfort of pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (1lb) box small pasta shells
  • 2 (10.5oz) cans tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a combination)
  • Seasoning to taste (salt, pepper, garlic powder)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, brown the beef in a large pan over medium heat until no longer pink. Remove any excess grease and season the meat.
  4. Add the cooked pasta, both cans of soup, 1/2 cup water, and HALF of the shredded cheese to the pan. Mix well.
  5. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese starts to brown.

Notes

Feel free to customize the recipe with your favorite vegetables or use marinara sauce instead of tomato soup.
