Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups tater tots, cooked and crispy
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water, cooking until well combined and heated through.
- To assemble the burritos, lay a tortilla flat and add a layer of cooked tater tots, seasoned beef, shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and some salsa.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides to secure the filling.
- Place the burritos seam-side down in a baking dish.
- Optionally, sprinkle extra cheese on top and cover with foil.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the tater tots are crispy for added texture inside the burrito. Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite ingredients.
