Easy Crock Pot Crack Chicken

A delicious and simple meal made with chicken, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Place the cream cheese on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken inside the slow cooker using two forks.
  6. Stir the shredded chicken to mix with the cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
  7. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions, mixing until well combined.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve on buns or over rice.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding diced jalapeños or hot sauce, and adjust ranch seasoning to your taste.
