Easy Hawaiian Roll French Toast Bites

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Butter for greasing
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Cut the Hawaiian rolls into quarters and place them in the greased baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and maple syrup until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the Hawaiian roll pieces, making sure all pieces are soaked.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

Best served warm. Add fresh fruit or whipped cream for a fun twist.
