- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Butter for greasing
- Powdered sugar for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls into quarters and place them in the greased baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and maple syrup until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the Hawaiian roll pieces, making sure all pieces are soaked.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Best served warm. Add fresh fruit or whipped cream for a fun twist.
