Ingredients

  • 2 cans biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 cup ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Break the biscuit dough into small balls (about 3 tablespoons each).
  3. In a bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Roll each dough ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Grease a deep-dish loaf or bundt pan and layer the dough balls, sprinkling brown sugar between the layers.
  6. Melt the butter and pour it over the dough balls.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  9. Pour the glaze over the warm monkey bread before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add nuts or chocolate chips between the layers. Keep an eye on the baking time as ovens may vary.
