Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and mix well.
- Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the buttered noodles.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of chicken broth to keep the noodles moist.
