Easy One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A quick and comforting meal of juicy chicken and buttered noodles all made in one pan.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  2. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and mix well.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the buttered noodles.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of chicken broth to keep the noodles moist.
