Instructions

- In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
- Remove the beignets from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Dust the warm beignets with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
