- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2–4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking dish.
- Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter and pour it into a large mixing bowl.
- Add 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the melted butter. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup flour, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to the wet mixture. Mix well.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the dish.
- Dissolve 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee granules in 2-4 tablespoons heavy cream and set aside.
- Beat 1/3 cup unsalted butter until light and fluffy, then gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Incorporate the coffee cream mixture into the frosting.
- Once brownies are cool, spread the frosting on top and slice into squares.
Notes
For variations, consider adding nuts or chocolate chips to the batter.
