Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or tenderloin)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the steak bites and sear until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  7. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Drain the pasta and add to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  10. Add the steak bites back into the pan and mix everything together.
  11. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet when cooking the steak bites for the best sear. You can adjust the amount of garlic and add spices like Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
