Ingredients

  • 2 tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • Butter or cooking spray
  • Optional fillings (like cooked chicken, bacon, or veggies)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each tortilla.
  3. Place one tortilla, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the tortilla, adding any optional fillings if desired.
  5. Top with the second tortilla, butter side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom is golden and cheese starts to melt, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Carefully flip the burrito and cook the other side until golden and crispy, about another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole, and enjoy with a side salad or crunchy chips.
