Grilled Cheese Roll Ups

A fun and easy twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, perfect for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

  • 810 slices of soft white sandwich bread (crusts removed)
  • 810 slices of your favorite melting cheese (Cheddar, American, Monterey Jack, Colby Jack, Provolone)
  • 45 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
  • Optional seasonings: 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, pinch of paprika, dried Italian herbs

Instructions

  1. Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin to a thickness of about 1/16 to 1/8 inch.
  2. Place a slice of cheese along one edge of each flattened slice, leaving a small border.
  3. If using, sprinkle optional seasonings over the cheese.
  4. Spread a thin layer of softened butter over the entire surface of each roll-up.
  5. Carefully place the roll-ups seam-side down in a preheated skillet and cook in batches.
  6. Cook for 2-4 minutes on the first side until golden brown, then turn to cook the other sides for a total of 5-8 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
