Hobo Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion until cooked through.
  3. In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes.
  4. Spread the browned beef mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the beef.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes
