Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika; one with beaten eggs; and one with breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken strip first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
- Serve warm, with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken strips in buttermilk for a few hours before breading. You can also use panko breadcrumbs for a crispier texture.
