- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 0.25 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 cup oil for frying
Instructions
- Pat chicken tenders dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
- Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken tenders for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce, simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss chicken tenders in the honey garlic sauce until evenly coated and serve immediately.
Notes
For a kick, add cayenne pepper to the flour or red pepper flakes to the sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
