- 2 ribeye steaks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-4 minutes.
- Serve the rested steaks topped with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Let the steaks rest before serving to redistribute juices. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
