- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 (14-ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup fresh key lime juice
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- Optional: whipped cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, egg yolks, and lime zest in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the key lime mixture over the crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until set.
- Cool and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars. Serve chilled with whipped cream.
Notes
For extra creaminess, serve with whipped cream. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
