Korean BBQ Steak Rice Bowls

Delicious and flavorful Korean BBQ Steak Rice Bowls with tender marinated steak and a spicy cream sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Steak
  • Cooked rice
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Vegetable oil
  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds
  • Cream
  • Sriracha or other hot sauce
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak in soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and a little sugar for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking.
  3. In a separate bowl, blend cream with sriracha, adding salt and pepper to taste for the spicy cream sauce.
  4. Assemble rice bowls by placing a serving of cooked rice at the bottom. Slice the steak and arrange it on top. Drizzle the spicy cream sauce over the steak.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful Korean BBQ steak rice bowls!

Notes

Let the steak marinate longer for a richer taste, up to a few hours if possible. Keep the creamy sauce separate when storing leftovers to maintain its texture.
