Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup kimchi
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- Green onions (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the steak in soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, and brown sugar for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill or pan-sear the steak to your desired doneness, then let it rest and slice thinly.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and sriracha to create the spicy cream sauce.
- In a serving bowl, add a scoop of rice, top with sliced steak and kimchi.
- Drizzle with the spicy cream sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
Notes
Marinate the steak longer for deeper flavor, up to overnight if you have time. Adjust the amount of gochujang to control spiciness.
