- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar. Mix well.
- Add eggs, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the mixture, and stir until smooth.
- Gradually mix in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and cutting into squares.
Notes
For an extra lemony flavor, consider adding more lemon zest or juice. Store in an airtight container.
